Compare Club helps Australians save money on their biggest household bills, from health and life insurance to energy and more. With over 500 people across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and beyond, everything we do is about giving customers smarter choices, better value, and peace of mind.

Now we're looking for a Marketing Growth Hacker to help us find and scale the next big growth engines. This isn't a business-as-usual role. You'll be spearheading our innovation efforts - testing, breaking and scaling across emerging platforms like TikTok, Reddit or GEO, or new formats like UGC, Reels, Immersive story ads and ultimately being the trailblazer of growth trends before they go mainstream. Your goal? Turn those early wins into repeatable, profitable systems that fuel dependable growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the marketing innovation agenda end to end, shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Spot new opportunities by constantly scanning platforms, communities, and emerging tactics.
  • Run experiments with a clear process: intake, test design, launch, and review.
  • Set commercial guardrails around cost, brand safety, and risk.
  • Build business cases and economic models to prove the commercial value of initiatives.
  • Translate wins into playbooks and documentation, handing them off to business teams to scale.
  • Own the budget making smart trade-offs to maximise learning and ROI.

What you'll bring

  • 4–7 years in growth or innovation roles, with a track record of launching new channels from scratch.
  • Experience with rapid experimentation and minimum viable testing.
  • Fluency in the numbers (CPA, CAC/LTV, payback) and the ability to show ROI through data.
  • Hands-on experience with ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), A/B testing tools, AI tools and short-form/community marketing.
  • Strong analytical chops—comfortable with GA4, Tableau, attribution, and holdout design.
  • A knack for turning complex findings into clear narratives that align stakeholders.
  • Experience briefing creators and working with design teams on fast-moving creative tests.
  • Understanding of how AI and new search formats (AEO) impact content and discovery.
  • The ability to turn successful experiments into repeatable playbooks for others to run with.
