  • Logistics Coordinator opportunity based at Idemitsu Australia in Brisbane CBD

How you will contribute:

  • The position is responsible for developing and implementing plans to deliver the flow of coal from mine site to port and subsequently onto vessels
  • Rail and shipping planning and execution primarily focused on the 3 months delivery window for Idemitsu NSW operations (Boggabri Coal Mine)
  • Communicate and cooperate with mine site, logistics agents and various service providers

  • Moderate level of coal quality understanding and capability
  • Moderate level of coal chain and associated service provider planning, scheduling and day-to-day management
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of conceptual and abstract thinking
  • Effective and positive team management capability
  • Ability to manage time effectively when dealing with competing priorities
