Rostering Officer – Residential
The role: Join the central residential rostering in this full time Rostering Officer role based in Mile End.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate daily and forward filling of rosters for ACH Group's Residential Care Homes
- Build a partnership and work closely with the Payroll team to prepare rosters and assist with pay queries
- Reconcile actual and shift hours
- Process roster change forms
- Liaise with the residential sites in relations to shifts
- Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team to support the management of vacant shifts
- Publish fortnightly rosters
- Reconcile and update rosters daily in accordance with the check in/out procedure
- Undertake regular reporting and flag any trends and / or concerns
- Undertake other administration as needed
About You
The role demands a person with outstanding communication skills and ability to building strong relationships with people and stakeholders at all levels, along with:
- Experience in rostering, scheduling or a high level of administration experience
- Prioritisation skills and ability to manage rosters in a volume environment
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office suite and learn multiple databases
You will need:
- To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.
- A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old upon commencement
It would be helpful if you had:
- Certificate in business administration or equivalent relevant qualification
