**Fitter Service Technician** **Duties**:

- Survey client sites, cranes, hydraulic systems and relevant equipment for the execution of work scopes
- Assist with responding to RFQ’s including the preparation of quotes and CTR’s
- Assist the engineering team with preparation of procedures to successfully execute work scopes
- Interpret drawings and specifications to complete crane and hydraulic system assembly and installation
- Fitting structural, mechanical and electrical components to assemble cranes and hydraulic systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic pipe cutting, threading, bending and installation
- Crane and hydraulic system site installation and commissioning in accordance with Company procedures
- Crane and hydraulic system component replacements
- Performing risk-based condition inspections and preparing the necessary reports documenting all findings
- Performing detailed inspections of prime movers, motors, pumps, hoses, valves, wire ropes, hook blocks, hoists, crane structures, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Complete routine and corrective maintenance on crane and hydraulic systems
- Crane component strip down inspections and overhauls
- Diagnosing faults and identifying details of all parts required to successfully implement repairs
- Ensure the operation of crane electrical and hydraulic systems is in accordance with manufacturer’s, Client’s and Company’s procedures
- Maintain, test and calibrate rated load capacity indicators, data-loggers or overload protection devices
- Submit detailed close out paperwork inclusive of, but not limited to; inspection checklists, worksheets, site service reports and work scope summaries
- Work with engineers, other technicians, inspectors and Client technicians to successfully execute work scopes
- Ensure full awareness of and compliance with the requirement of all relevant HSE handbooks and Work pack procedures

- Initiate or recommend solutions to problems identified;

- Complete all outlined tasks within the time frames required;
- Contribute to the development of the team to meet its goals and objectives;
- Participate in Quality improvement initiatives and processes as determined by the Company practice;
- Conduct all activities in compliance with relevant legislation regulations, and all policies, procedures and guidelines as determined by the PD;
- Participate in professional and performance development as required;
- Provide excellent internal customer service to other PD staff, with a strong focus on achieving team goals;
- Perform other duties as required by the Managing Director or their delegate;
- Participate in and contributes to the PD’s culture transformation program; and,
- Strive to positively demonstrate the PD’s signature values and behaviours.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fitter Service Technician: 2 years (preferred)
