Your new role

This is your opportunity to join CMI Toyota in 2026 as an Apprentice Automotive Technician, starting and specialising your career in the industry being trained in the Toyota product. You'll receive exclusive training at our in-house state-of-the-art training centre, located at our modern dealership on West Terrace in the city, with additional on-the-job training also provided. What you'll be doing

  • Completing your apprenticeship as an automotive technician
  • Learning the principles of service, repair and maintenance for a variety of vehicles
  • Training on manufacturer, customer service and CMI Toyota standards
  • Understanding how to provide the highest level of workmanship

About you

To help you start your successful career as an automotive technician, you'll:

  • Have completed at least Year 11 and/or Cert II in Automotive Servicing Technology
  • Possess a good mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning more
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a friendly, positive, and can-do attitude
  • Be in possession of a current manual and auto drivers' licence (essential)
