Your New Role
As the Lead Senior Analyst, Investment Data Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and analysis of investment data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of data to support our investment strategies and decision-making processes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and mentorship to a team of Analysts
- Overseeing the collection, validation, and analysis of investment data from various sources
- Developing and implementing data management processes and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency
- Collaborating with investment teams to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate data solutions
- Conducting in-depth data analysis to support investment strategies and decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Continuously monitoring and improving data management processes and systems
You have a strong track record in investment data management, combining advanced analytical expertise with confident leadership. With the capability to act as the 2IC to the Senior Manager, Investments Data Management, you play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, supporting strategic initiatives, and guiding the team toward high performance and continuous improvement.
In addition, you have:
- Demonstrated experience in investment data management operations at a large Fund Manager, Asset Manager, Asset Owner or equivalent experience in Financial Services industry
- Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex concepts or problems to various audiences
- Understanding of data management and its implementation in a financial institution
- Understanding of data lineage, risk and controls
- Knowledge of Funds regulatory compliance with regards to data CPS234
- Experience in investment platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, Ortec, GoldenSource and Matrix (Rimes)
- Proficiency in investment data tools (coding tools, SQL, R, Python etc)
