Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanic located in Brisbane, QLD. The day-to-day responsibilities include fitting and assembling our range of Isuzu powered marine generators. The successful candidate will work under our lead diesel mechanic who will teach and oversee the assembly and load testing of all units. All marine generators are built to order so the role requires someone that is capable and efficient with the use of tools for fitting and assembling. The position requires adherence to workplace safety standards and active collaboration with the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Fitting and assembly
  • Skills in working with tools
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with workplace safety practices
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
  • Prior experience in understanding diesel engines is advantageous
  • Prior experience working with machinery is advantageous.
