Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting skilled Boilermakers, Pipefitters and Mechanical Fitters for a mix of workshop and site-based roles on upcoming oil & gas projects in Brisbane.

The Work:

Successful applicants will be involved in a range of tasks, including:

  • Workshop fabrication of pressure piping, spooling, skids and structural steel assemblies
  • Onsite installation of pipework, tanks, vessels and structural steel on live facilities
  • Mechanical fitting of rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, valves and process plant components
  • Reading and interpreting isometric drawings, GAs and fabrication sketches
  • Pressure testing, QA/QC checks and documentation as per project standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualified Boilermakers or Mechanical Fitters
  • Pipefitting/fabrication experience in oil & gas, mining or heavy industry
  • Ability to work to drawings and specifications with a high attention to detail
  • Strong focus on safety and teamwork in high-risk environments
  • Current White Card (Working at Heights and Confined Space highly regarded)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
