The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for an immediate start. This role involves hands-on mechanical fitting, installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance across a variety of industrial equipment in the petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance tasks across equipment and infrastructure.
  • Bolt-up and flange management in line with industry standards.
  • Minor structural steel assembly and installation as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Work unsupervised or as part of a team while maintaining safe practices.

About you

  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.
  • Local work experience and right to work in Australia.
  • GTAW (TIG) welding experience desirable.
  • Petrochemical industry experience highly regarded.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence (required).
  • Current Work at Heights certification (required).
  • Current Confined Space Entry certification (required).
  • Construction White Card (required).
  • Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening and a Pre-Employment Medical.
