P & J Powder Coatings is currently on the hunt for an experienced Production Labourer.

With an established foothold and strong reputation in the Brisbane powder coating industry for the last 35 + years, we can offer the right person a position backed with longevity, stability and security.

Whilst working within an established team of skilled staff, you will be reporting to the Production Manager. The duties required of this position are, but are not limited to the below:

  • Carry out chemical preparation work as specified
  • Ensure all jobs are jigged correctly and safely
  • Ensure all jobs are cleaned and prepared properly prior to the powder coating process
  • Check for job quality and ensure all items are accounted for when jigging
  • Filling out job cards
  • Carry out maintenance when requested by Production Manager
  • Keep work area clean and tidy and equipment maintained correctly at all times

In order to be able to complete the above you will need to have the following attributes:

  • Be willing to demonstrate accountability and responsibility for work performed.
  • Be responsible for your safety and the safety of others.
  • Ability to work within a team environment but be willing to work autonomously if required.
  • Must be able to provide a clear Drug and Alcohol pre employment test result and be willing to submit to random site testing

  • Manufacturing & Utilities Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Forklift Licence (Preferred)
