Position Overview

We're on the lookout for a dedicated & enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll help ensure smooth daily operations, uphold our high standards of customer service, & contribute to the ongoing success of The Edmondson Tavern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the tavern, including opening & closing procedures
  • Lead & support the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
  • Manage bookings, reservations, & customer inquiries with accuracy & care
  • Maintain the cleanliness & presentation of all public areas
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards through regular checks
  • Handle cash management, including till reconciliation & gaming machine clearances
  • Be a friendly point of contact for patrons, resolving concerns professionally
  • Work with management to improve operations & elevate the customer experience
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in a similar hospitality role
  • Proven leadership skills & the ability to inspire a team
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Current RSA & RCG competency cards
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, & public holidays
  • Australian citizenship is required
