Junior / Trainee Administrator – 2026 Intake

Location: Elermore Vale, NSW

Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time, Office-based)

JBuild Industries is a well-established, family-run civil construction company with our office based in Elermore Vale. We're looking for a motivated Junior/Trainee Administrator to join our growing team in 2026. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to start a career in business administration within the civil construction industry.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone eager to learn all aspects of business administration through hands-on experience and on-the-job training. You'll be supported by our experienced team and gain exposure to a wide range of administrative functions that keep a busy construction business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering phones and handling general enquiries with professionalism and confidence
  • Providing administrative support to management and site staff
  • Assisting with document preparation, filing, and data entry
  • Managing emails, correspondence, and supplier communications
  • Scheduling deliveries, booking meetings, and maintaining calendars
  • Assisting with WHS and compliance record management
  • Updating spreadsheets, registers, and internal systems
  • General office upkeep and organisation
What We're Looking For
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident speaking on the phone and engaging with staff and suppliers
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and general digital literacy)
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Professional, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Proactive and able to work independently if required
  • Current driver's licence (required)
  • Positive attitude and team player
