Our client is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer
to join a cross-functional BI and analytics team on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. You'll be delivering advanced dashboards, data visualisations, and integrated reporting solutions that drive business insights and support decision-making.

This role is ideal for developers who are confident with large datasets, SQL integration, and stakeholder engagement — and who enjoy building visualisations that actually get used.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain
    interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable BI solutions
    and visual models
  • Integrate Tableau with diverse data sources:
    SQL
    ,
    Excel
    ,
    cloud platforms
    (e.g. AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across dashboards and reports
  • Optimise performance using
    best practices in data modelling and visual design
  • Create reusable templates, documentation, and style guides for analysts and business users
  • Contribute to the organisation's data governance and reporting standards
  • Mentor junior developers or analysts as needed during project delivery

What We're Looking For

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience with
    Tableau Desktop
    and
    Tableau Server
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
    , including complex queries, joins, and transformations
  • Solid grasp of
    data visualisation best practices
    , UI/UX principles, and storytelling with data
  • Experience working with
    large datasets
    ,
    ETL processes
    , and
    data modelling
  • Ability to engage with business users, translate needs, and present technical solutions clearly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline

  • Tableau Certification (e.g.

    or higher)
  • Experience with
