The Opportunity
embarc is a new Disability Employment Services (DES) and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) service provider under The Disability Trust that proudly offers a personal and tailored approach to supporting people with disability, illness or injury on their employment journey.
We are seeking a proactive and versatile professional to lead as the Marketing Manager of embarc. This rare opportunity will see you establish our market presence as we enter an exciting growth phase in employment services. In this hands-on role, you will shape, implement and execute embarc's marketing strategy and marketing plans across all channels.
This is a full-time position with base location preferred at our Head Office in Coniston. However, location may be flexible for the right candidate as embarc's footprint spans across New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer/Chief Marketing Officer, you will utilise your deep expertise in a range of marketing functions to take embarc from a successful initial launch to an established brand across existing and new markets. This role will also work closely with the Chief Operating Officer – Employment & Enterprises and our employment leadership team.
Key Role Responsibilities Will See You
- Lead the development and execution of a marketing strategy for embarc across traditional and digital media.
- Measure and monitor marketing campaigns to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of branded material.
- Manage and coordinate content across multiple social media accounts.
- Capture images and coordinate video content.
- Seek feedback and analyse outcomes to gain a deep understanding of participant and staff needs and reflect this in marketing activity.
- Present marketing information and strategy to key stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage expenditure and work within a defined budget.
- Undertake competitor analysis and market research.
- Represent the organisation in external forums and events as required.
The base salary for this position is between
$100,000 to $105,000
(plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will be a true marketing generalist with a rich work history across branding, communications, design, and general marketing. In addition, we will value your:
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of contemporary marketing practices.
- Confidence and eloquence in all communication, with an emphasis on your strong written skills and ability to write effective copy for advertising materials.
- Competence in the use of a variety of platforms, tools and technologies relevant to marketing activities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
- Genuine ability to engage and build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to monitor and adopt marketing trends and developments to enhance team performance.
The successful candidate will be required to provide checks including a cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card (ACT only), at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and a valid Australian Driver Licence prior to commencing employment.
