About the RoleWe are currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business and key-account growth across enterprise and government.
Key duties will include:
- Prospecting and securing new B2B opportunities across data centres, structured cabling and multi-site ICT rollouts
- Owning the full sales cycle: target list creation, meetings, scoping with pre-sales/estimating, proposal/RFT response, negotiation and close
- Building and executing account plans for named enterprise/government accounts, with accurate pipeline and forecast management
- Coordinating with delivery/operations to ensure scope, risk, timeline and handover are clear on every project
- Representing Fast Track at customer sites and industry events; interstate travel as required
- Maintaining CRM hygiene and reporting to the Sales Director
We are seeking a candidate who:
Essential
- Strong B2B new-business experience in communications/data infrastructure
- Existing networks and contacts across data centres, enterprise IT/facilities, and commercial builders/integrators
- Proven success closing complex, multi-site projects (capex & services) with C-level/Head-of-IT/Facilities stakeholders
- Experience preparing scopes/SOWs and responding to RFP/RFTs (enterprise/government)
- Ability to work autonomously to build pipeline and meet revenue/margin targets
Desirable
- Familiarity with structured cabling (copper & fibre) solution sets, and selling into secure/data-centre sites advantageous
- Experience selling national ICT rollouts (banking, retail, healthcare, transport, fuel networks)
- CRM proficiency (e.g., SimPro) and disciplined forecasting
- $200k OTE + car allowance
