Northern Star Mining Services are seeking Service Crew Operators to join our Kalgoorlie Operations which encompasses our Fimiston, Mount Charlotte, Kanowna Belle, South Kalgoorlie and Porphyry sites. This is your chance to be part of a company that values your skills with great perks

Position Details:

• Job Title: Operator - Service Crew
• Location: Fimiston, Mount Charlotte, Kanowna Belle, South Kalgoorlie & Porphyry
• Employment Type: Permanent Full Time. 7/7 12hr shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in installing underground services
• Operating an Integrated Tool Carrier to move various items from the laydown yard to underground locations.
• Perform daily workplace inspections and pre-start checks for all vehicles and mobile equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair all underground services e.g.: air/water/pump lines, ventilation bags, secondary fans, temporary electrical cables, submersible pumps in sumps, Mono pumps, and clean / maintain explosive areas
• Installing and removing communication equipment/knocker line in accordance with site policies
• Install grout, plate, and tension of cable bolts
• Safely use hand tools to undertake certain tasks
• Train new personnel in all aspects of Service Crew

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 months practical experience as an Underground Service Crew Operator
• Operation of integrated tool carriers competency
• Unencumbered manual C class drivers licence
• Current working at heights certificate
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (Desirable
• Senior first aid certificate (Desirable)
