Northern Star Mining Services (NSMS) is on the lookout for skilled and motivated Service Crew Operators to lead our high-performing teams across our West Australian Operations.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Operator - Service Crew - LH
• Location: West Australian Operations
• Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Service Crew Leading Hand, you'll play a vital role in keeping our underground operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading and mentoring your team to complete service crew tasks safely and efficiently.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing underground services (air, water, pump lines, ventilation bags, secondary fans, cables, pumps, explosive areas, and more).
• Operating Integrated Tool Carriers to transport equipment and materials underground.
• Conducting inspections, pre-start checks and ensuring work areas meet safety standards.
• Installing grout, plates, and tensioning cable bolts.
• Training new crew members to build a strong and capable team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' underground service crew experience.
• Competency in operating Integrated Tool Carriers.
• Manual C Class driver's licence (unencumbered).
• Working at Heights Certificate.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card & Senior First Aid (Desirable)
