This is a long-term 24-month contract opportunity to work on a significant transformer project in Australia, covering overhauls and replacements at the 300kv class. You'll build specialist expertise that will make you highly sought after across the market, while gaining the stability of a long-term contract. With the scale and visibility of these projects, your profile as a technical specialist will be elevated, and you'll walk away with valuable experience that can fast-track your career.

About the role

Reporting into the Head of Engineering, you'll play a key part in delivering a large transformer overhaul. You can be based in NSW, VIC and ACT. You'll collaborate closely with design teams, project managers and contractors, ensuring technical excellence and smooth project delivery. This role will involve you in both site work and engineering input, providing you with breadth and depth in transformer project exposure.

Skills & experience

  • HV background with a deep understanding and knowledge of Transformers up to 300kv.
  • Senior background and experience on large energy infrastructure projects
  • Design experience with Transformers would be highly beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across contractors and engineers
