Ophelia is a cozy and vibrant eatery in the heart of Westgarth, known for our commitment to seasonal, local produce and thoughtfully crafted dishes. We're looking for a talented Chef to join our team—someone with a passion for fresh, local ingredients, great attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and execute a seasonal, produce-driven menu with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient prep
  • Help with stock rotation and minimising waste
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
  • Foster a positive, team-focused environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a café or restaurant setting
  • A genuine passion for food, sustainability, and quality produce
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work 5 days per week (approx. 38 hours), including weekends as required
