Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Corporate Carbon Advisory Pty Ltd Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Help shape Australia's carbon future.

If you enjoy working in a small but rapidly growing team and are looking for variety in your role, you'll thrive at Corporate Carbon. This role is perfect for someone with one to two years' experience, eager to learn, grow, and build their career in the right environment.

About Corporate Carbon

Corporate Carbon, incorporating the Corporate Carbon Group of Companies, is one of Australia's largest multi-sector carbon project developers. We create new solutions for carbon market participation from carbon abatement activities, ensuring emissions reductions and co-benefits for the environment, individuals, and businesses.

Our vision is: Sustainable planet. Better future. Our purpose is to accelerate global transformation and transition to a decarbonised economy. We demonstrate leadership in carbon project development, leveraging technology, innovation, and navigating complexities – through multiple methodologies in multiple sectors.

We value respect, leadership, excellence, collaboration, and flexibility. We are a highly innovative company, experiencing strong growth, and have built a strong reputation as thought leaders in the climate sector.

Corporate Carbon offers a modern workplace experience: our Sydney CBD offices feature excellent facilities, including an on-site gym. At the same time, we are committed to a true and dedicated approach to hybrid and remote working, with a focus on outcomes rather than time in the office. Our culture is agile and supportive, with perks including bonus leave days and other benefits that recognise the importance of work–life balance.

The role

As Accounts Officer (Accounts Payable Focus), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Corporate Carbon's finance operations. Your primary responsibility will be the end-to-end management of accounts payable, including supplier invoices, payments, credit notes, and expense claims. You will also provide support across accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial administration, compliance reporting, and other finance functions as required.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and accuracy are essential. You will work closely with the Financial Controller, staff across the business, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective processing of financial transactions across multiple entities.

You will be provided with the opportunity to contribute to meeting Australia's climate change targets and solving one of the most important problems of our time. Your work environment will be agile, engaging, and flexible. You will receive a competitive salary package and significant on-the-job training and professional development.
