Mastroplas Pty. Ltd. is looking for a full-time Production Engineer who fits within the below description. The ideal candidate salary will be between $77,000 - $85,000 per year plus 10.5% superannuation.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Doing preventive and breakdown maintenance of various components of injection moulding machines for smooth and effective production.

· Provide plans by operating computer aided design (CAD) system; analyse design options.

· Supervise engineering activities to ensure adherence to the company's policy and procedures.

· Monitor, report and problem solve machine utilization and optimization.

· Support production team by providing technical expertise to minimize production stoppages and meet production target.

· Drive continuous improvement and manage change in the production team by identifying systematic production issues, troubleshooting, and advising the production team on technical process improvements together with R&D.

· Implementing new concepts into production; undertaking inspection of the first production batch of new or modified components or assemblies.

· Carry out routine maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.

· Undertake regular inspection of plant machinery to ensure optimum performance is achieved all the times.

· Collaborate with the team members to ensure delivery of products.

· Directing and supervising maintenance of equipment in cost effective and efficient manner.

  • Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.

Relevant Qualifications, Experience and Skills

· A degree in engineering

· Knowledge of 3D Software

· Knowledge of injection moulding process

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be resourceful, proactive and have the ability to provide solutions.
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
