THE ROLE:

Excellent role for a senior Energy or Infrastructure or Construction Lawyer with 8+ years of experience to work on some of Australia's leading projects.

A leading Energy company seeks an experienced Energy, Infrastructure, or Construction lawyer to join its team on a three-month contract (with the potential for extension/to become permanent) with an immediate start.

We know the GC and the CEO and can vouch for both. Supportive, innovative and get-stuff-done people.

Seniority: 8 years plus

Required Experience: In-House Energy or Infrastructure or Construction Experience

Location: Sydney CBD

Why the role has arisen: Due to increased workload and significant projects.

Reporting to: GC and working with stakeholders at all levels of the business

Salary: $230K to $260K p/a inc super

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months with potential to extend/become permanent

TASKS
  • A wide range of project documents required for major energy projects, such as development agreements, revenue/offtake agreements (e.g. PPAs/ESAs), agreements for processing, transportation, operation and maintenance agreements, connection agreements; and related "upstream" project documents.
  • Joint venture/bidding agreements, and other documentation for early-stage development projects such as HOAs, MOUs, LOIs and term sheets;
  • General and ancillary commercial contracts for all business units, such as recoverable works agreements;
  • o High-level regulatory matters; and
  • o Provide general legal advice and support to the operating businesses as required from time to time, including dispute resolution.
