We provide disability supports across the Hunter, Central Coast, Mid North Coast and New England regions — from Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to community participation and specialist behaviour supports.

The Role

As our new Intake & Engagement Officer, you'll be the first friendly face (or voice) for new and potential participants. You'll guide them through the NDIS journey, help them understand their options, and connect them to the right supports. You'll also play a key role in growing our presence across the community - online and in person.

Every day looks a little different, but you might:


• Respond to enquiries and coordinate participant intake


• Build positive relationships with families, carers, and community partners


• Promote Brighter Access at local events, expos and through social media


• Maintain accurate client data and contribute to service improvement


• Share your knowledge of SIL, SDA, and NDIS funding pathways to ensure participants receive the right housing and support options


• Bring creative ideas to help our services and community connections grow

• Experienced with the NDIS, SIL, SDA, and case management


• A strong communicator - clear, compassionate, and confident


• Tech-savvy with great computer skills and a knack for social media growth


• Organised, proactive, and great at juggling multiple priorities


• Naturally curious, creative, and ready to roll up your sleeves


• Positive, flexible, and a true team player


• Bonus points if you've worked in disability, community, or human services

• Current Driver's Licence


• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience


• Willing to travel to represent the organisation in the regions we service
