Cemetery Groundsperson/Manager

Cemeteries are a place of history and serenity. Warrnambool Cemetery Trustees employ staff to maintain two sites - Warrnambool cemetery in Otway Road, and Tooram Memorial Park located on Hopkins Point Road, Allansford. The Trust is seeking to employ a suitably qualified groundsperson/manager to work with, manage and supervise our team.
Applicants will be required to have a proven background specifically but not limited to, grounds and staff management, OH&S and WorkSafe awareness and equipment and machinery maintenance.
Applicants will be required to have a commitment to learn skills specific to the funeral industry for which training will be provided.
An integral part of this role is to ensure services to inter deceased loved ones of mourners is delivered with respect, compassion and empathy.
