About the Role

As a Client Services Consultant, you will be the welcoming face of GCT, working directly with families, community members, and stakeholders to deliver respectful and exceptional service. You will assist with enquiries, bookings, and requests, while providing accurate information on cemetery procedures, products, and services.

This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide coverage while a team member is on maternity leave

The ideal candidate will bring a mature outlook, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. As this role is highly people-focused, success will come from demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting families during a difficult time.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to provide tailored cemetery and cremation options

• Support families in planning memorialisation and interment arrangements with care and professionalism

• Develop strong relationships with clients, funeral directors, and community stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Trust policies

• Answer inbound calls and handle sensitive client enquiries with empathy and professionalism

• Book and coordinate cremation, burial and memorial services

• Maintain accurate records using internal systems

• Generate invoices and process paperwork

• Ensure all interactions uphold privacy, compassion, and client care standards
