About CareSouth

What we are looking for:

  • Preferred Completed or studying towards a Diploma of Community Services or other relevant Diploma or willing to enrol
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts: mornings, afternoons, weekends, sleepovers
  • First Nations people are encouraged to apply

About the role
As a Support Worker in an Intensive Therapeutic Care, Significant Disability (ITC) model you will:

  • Support children/young people to achieve personal goals
  • Assist children/young people to build their personal resilience and navigate complex emotions and triggers
  • Support connection to family & culture
  • Encourage and aid participation in education & extracurricular activities to promote competence and stability in day-to-day life
  • Transport and daily care as required
  • Work alongside our clinical and casework team with children and young people at the forefront of all practice.
