1Heart Care Services is seeking Casual Personal Care Assistants or Disability Support Workers who are ready to make a difference in the lives of others by providing services and supports in line with our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Community & Choice Join the most vibrant NDIS team and let us grow together Essential criteria: · Experience working in an aged care facility, in-home, or a community Support Worker · Holds relevant qualifications or working towards (Cert III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent) · NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) · Current Police Check (or willing to obtain) · Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 and Seasonal Influenza · Have legal work right in Australia · Can commit at least 2-3 shifts per week and willing to take short shifts · Has flexible availability and commitment to an ongoing roster · Has caring nature, loves to engage with people, and possess a 'can do' attitude · Can provide at least two solid references What in your resume is important but we are looking for individuals that has a calling and passion to render genuine support services from the HEART Preferred but not essential criteria: Experience working with people living with functional or mental disability Current First Aid & CPR Training Driver's license & and fully insured car Experience with Manual Handling Experienced with Medication Assistance Understanding of person-centred approach Current Hiring Locations: Sydney South-West region, Canterbury-Bankstown, Dubbo, Wellington, Mudgee, and Orange Being a Support Worker with 1Heart Care is a rewarding career, but we acknowledge that some days can tough.
