About the Role

As the Projects and Programs Adaptation Planning Officer within the Strategy and Planning Team, you will develop, manage, and implement a range of projects to support the delivery of high-quality customer services across NSW. Your work will support LLS's directions for building landholder resilience to the constant change and opportunities that influence how they deliver sustainable agriculture, protect our environment, and contribute to local communities. You will also design strategic initiatives, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and manage innovative approaches that allow LLS to understand and respond to changing landholder needs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering statewide programs that meet LLS objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform evidence-based program development
  • Preparing detailed reports, updates, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating communication projects to share the impact of LLS's work
  • Supporting and guiding project team members across various programs
  • Representing LLS at cross-sector committees and external working groups.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone with strong skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication. You'll bring:

  • Experience in developing, managing or supporting state-wide strategic and program planning initiatives
  • Experience leading the strategic analysis and negotiation of outcomes across diverse audiences, planning scales and land management sectors
  • Experience monitoring, analysing and identifying strategic responses to environmental, economic and social change and risks
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting reports, briefing papers, and media content
  • Capability to work flexibly and efficiently in dynamic project teams.
