AUTOMOTIVE AND FABRICATION PAINTER - BDS ROMA

BDS Mechanical is currently seeking a full-time (or casual) Auto Body and Fabrication Painter to join our team in Roma, with some travel to other branches as required. This is a great opportunity to work both on-site and across various locations, while becoming part of a large, reputable, and stable company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a rapidly growing and dynamic company, specialising in mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services - delivered both on-site and from our fully equipped workshops. With 22 branches across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, we provide reliable coverage across more than 600,000 km² throughout Queensland and Western Australia. As a proudly privately owned business, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our team and fostering a strong work–life balance.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Auto body painter experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
  • Valid drivers license

Your duties will include:

  • Vehicle touch ups
  • Painting steel fabrications
  • Preparing surfaces
  • Mix and match paints
  • Use spray guns to apply primers and finishes
  • Assistant in other workshop duties
  • Keep work area clean
