We currently have a Casual Bakery Customer Service Assistant vacancy to fill within our team. In this role, you will be working within a close knit, fun team, providing outstanding service and knowledge in high quality gourmet bakery products.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Store set up - packaging, wrapping different bakery products to be displayed on shelves.

  • Arranging cake and food displays.

  • Slicing breads, heating pies, merchandising, assisting Pastry Chefs with packaging, serving customers.

  • Providing exceptional customer service

  • Taking orders over the phone

  • Use of POS register

  • EFTPOS & cash handling

  • Cleaning & sanitisation of display cabinets and direct work areas.

To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be available for an Immediate start

  • You must be physically fit as this role requires you to be able to lift and move products regularly.

  • Be reliable and hard working.

  • Be a team player with good communication skills

  • Have a passion for high quality baked goods

  • Previous experience within a Bakery environment will be highly regarded
