About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated People & Culture Manager to join our growing leadership team based in our Head Office in Adelaide. Initially a part time position, 3-4 days per week, based in the office, this role is a unique opportunity which will have you working in a solo P&C role, reporting to the CEO and covering the full spectrum of P&C related duties.

This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their HR career, without the pressure of managing a team, however having the opportunity to work on strategic projects as well as the day-to-day people related activities. The key responsibilities are;

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance reviews to offboarding
  • Be the owner of the HRIS (Employment Hero) and update employee records as required
  • Provide ER and IR advice and assistance to managers and employees
  • Support with organizational changes and restructures as required
  • Administer, coordinate and manage the quarterly employee engagement surveys and report results back to the Executive team and wider business
  • Partner with the CEO to execute the annual remuneration review process
  • Partner with a variety of local and remote managers on all people related matters
  • Continue to develop and maintain the current employee value proposition
  • Prepare and conduct various reporting requirements eg WGEA and Board Papers
  • Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation

About you

To be successful in this role and make a real impact within the business, you will have;

  • Tertiary qualifications and or significant HR experience
  • Ability to and motivation to be both strategic and hands on
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of Fair Work legislation
  • The ability to coach, influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in managing all aspects of a HRIS (Employment Hero experience highly desirable)
  • A proactive approach, confident to challenge the status quo and open to change
