Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Design Build Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Our client is a Nationally recognized commercial builder delivering New Build, fit-out and refurbishment projects. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to work on a multitude of tenders valued up to $50M, with a focus on commercial, government, and hospitality projects.

You will be working closely with the Estimating Manager and joining a well-established pre-construction team.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tenders.
  • Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme.
  • Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholders.
  • Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing.
  • Regular meetings with subcontractors throughout the tender period to ensure the most competitive pricing and accurate bids.

Required experience:

  • Proven Estimating experience on commercial construction, fitout and refurbishments valued from $10m+
  • Proactive problem solver but also able to ask for help if required.
  • Ambition to commit long term to the business
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
