URGENT REQUIREMENT for ELECTRICIANS & FIRE TECHNICIANS
Our client 'Safe Check' specialises in the design, inspection, service and installation of fire suppression systems. We are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable, and safety-focused services to our clients across various industries.
As we expand our service offering, we're seeking experienced certified Electricians and proactive Fire Technicians to join our dynamic team.
ELECTRICIANS
Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician who is passionate about electrical safety and service excellence. You will carry out a variety of tasks including routine maintenance, installations, fault finding, repairs, testing & tagging and safety inspections to ensure our clients meet all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Perform electrical inspections, testing, RCD testing, and thermal imaging.
- Complete safety and compliance checks in accordance with AS/NZS standards and Safe Work Australia guidelines.
- Accurately complete documentation, service reports, and compliance records.
- Liaise professionally with clients to explain issues and provide solutions.
- Maintain a strong safety-first approach in all work practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Assist with other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Essential Requirements
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (State-recognised)
- Current CPR & LVR certification
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified electrician
- Full Australian driver's licence
- Sound understanding of relevant Australian electrical standards and WHS requirements
- Committed to WHS
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience working on Mine Sites
- Experience working in Heavy Industrial
- Experience working in compliance-based electrical services (e.g., statutory testing, RCD, exit/emergency lighting)
- Familiarity with digital job management systems
FIRE TECHNICIANS
