A Senior System Administrator role is now open for a technology enthusiast who can handle complex IT systems with ease. This role is based in the Pilbara and demands a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge in system administration.

Description

  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of windows computer systems and servers.
  • Install, upgrade, and manage software and hardware.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide training and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the company's data and backups.
  • Manage user accounts and assist in the on-boarding of new users.
  • Analyse system performance and make recommendations for improvements with the expectation to execute.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery protocols.

Profile

A successful Senior System Administrator should have:

  • An advanced understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A strong understanding of data protection and recovery.
  • Experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have full work rights in Australia.

You will be required to live in Port Hedland - relocation and housing benefits can be provided. Please only apply if you are local/willing to relocate on a permanent basis.
