Overview: The employee is accountable for achieving the duties assigned by their manager to ensure the effective supply of products to customers, internal and external.

These activities are inclusive of,

• Picking and packing items for despatch to customers
• Picking items to manufacturing work orders for production and outside operations
• Inwards goods inspection and receiving
• Daily inventory cycle counting
• Kanban inventory replenishment
• High reach & Counterbalance forklift use

HOURS OF WORK: 38 Hrs p/w with optional overtime as required

Responsibilities:

• Follow procedures to maintain a high quality and productivity standard
• Promote and demonstrate behaviours that create a safe working environment
• Cross-train on multiple processes to maximize capabilities and productivity
• Rotate as needed among all necessary processes to satisfy the demands of the day
• Assist all other team members to produce what is need, when it is needed
• Read and follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks according to specifications
• Stay on task to complete assignments
• Work overtime as required to satisfy customer demands

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Basic mathematical knowledge
• Willingness to keep work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations and 5S
• Excellent oral communication
• Excellent team player
• Versatile, flexible and able to work in a dynamic changing environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be physically fit and able to carry out all manual handing requirements within the warehouse.
• Be willing to engage in repetitive work when required to do so.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Forklift Licence.
