Role Summary

As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, deploying, and maintaining network and system infrastructure to meet business and technical requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure optimal network performance and security.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution for complex issues.
  • Ensure the security of the network and data by implementing and maintaining security measures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop network architecture and solutions.
  • Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in network/system engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Experience with system administration and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
