Computer Network and Systems Engineer (Implementation Technician) Job Description: We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants.
Our client, Bepoz Global, based in Melbourne (VIC), is actively seeking an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer (Implementation Technician) to join their team on a full-time basis at their Perth office.
Bepoz is Australia's leading supplier and developer of point of sale (POS) systems, renowned for customized products tailored for bars, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and clubs.
The company also offers integrated Digital Signage, CCTV, Paging solutions, Takeaway Order Apps, and Self-Ordering systems.
Main Responsibilities: Perform installation, deployment, configuration, testing, data migration, and administration of Bepoz System Software, networks, databases, servers, and workstations.
Design and configure system architectures to meet client requirements, ensuring performance, scalability, and seamless integration, while developing project plans.
Collaborate with clients during implementation and go-live to design data models, network requirements, backup strategies, and integration processes.
Analyze and implement POS solutions to optimize operations, tracking hours, costs, and resources, and keep the accounts team informed.
Configure networking devices, manage firewall rules, subnets, VLANs, install VPNs, SQL Servers, RDS, and apply security patches.
Monitor and optimize network infrastructure performance, recommending hardware and software improvements.
Provide remote and onsite support for diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows servers, network printers, scanners, payment terminals, and online platforms.
Upgrade Bepoz software, update SQL databases, and ensure seamless system integration.
Integrate Bepoz with various systems, manage network traffic, IP reservations, and DHCP ranges.
Conduct training sessions for clients on Bepoz solutions, POS, Your Order, Snapshots, Oolio Pay, and My Place.
Research and analyze system needs, propose enhancements, and update technical documentation.
Coordinate with the Warehouse team for hardware supply and management for WA customers.
Assist in developing project rollout strategies and security policies.
Oversee security and compliance, protect transaction data, and ensure system integrity.
Diagnose and test system errors, collaborate with R&D for resolution.
Build positive client relationships and support business growth in WA.
Must Have: Australian Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Systems, or related field At least 2 years of Australian experience as an ICT Implementation Technician One year of experience with POS systems Skills Needed: Full-spectrum system implementation from installation to post-go-live support Expertise in Windows Servers, SQL, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs Strong client engagement skills Project management experience Ability to train and support hospitality operators Commitment to security and compliance, with QA collaboration Successful candidates will earn an annual salary of A$80,000 to A$90,000 plus superannuation.
