This role is responsible for providing efficient, accurate and confidential coordination of payroll, administrstion, and purchasing activities that support site's operational and business objectives.

This includes:

  • Process weekly waged payroll for Athol Park and SA/NT depots, including contractor hours
  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll records including leave and wage adjustments.
  • Coordinate payroll onboarding for new starters
  • Arrange pre-employment medicals as required.
  • Provide guidance to managers on payroll, entitlements, and leave procedures
  • Generate regular and ad hoc labour, leave, and absenteeism reports for site
  • Coordinate site purchasing and procurement activities in accordance with policy and pre-approval guidelines.
  • Manage purchase orders, goods receipting, and invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

  • Relevant business course or administration would be preferred
  • Strong experience in a payroll/administration position, manufacturing preferred
  • Strong offie/systems administrstion skills
  • Confidentiality
  • High standard of written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Self-motivated
