About the Role
We have an opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor with experience in the Construction of Substation HV Switchyards to join us on projects located across NSW in both metro and country regions. As a successful applicant, you will be required to manage small teams of electrical resources and sub-contractors for brownfields work on transmission sub-stations, including planning daily works, completion of daily diaries, and being the face of the company in managing client relationships. You will have an outcome driven approach with the ability to positively influence and motivate your crew while upholding Downer's Zero Harm culture, with a genuine commitment to the health and safety of all employees. The projects include living away from home on a 10/4 roster basis with travel to and from site during the 10 working days, as well as Site Uplift whilst away.

About You

  • A NSW recognised Electrical trade qualification
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within Substation Switchyard environments
  • Primary HV Switchyard Construction experience including Earth Grid Installation, Structure Installation, HV Electrical Switchgear Installation, and Primary Connections
  • Secondary Protection and Control Systems installation, including communications and SCADA system installation experience
  • Exceptional communications skills to clearly communicate work plans and required outcomes to the crew; and
  • Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to zero harm
