Location: Mount Martha, Mornington Peninsula
Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 20 hours per week (ideally mornings, but we can be flexible)
Employment Type: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP

We're a busy, fast-paced family of five living in Mount Martha, with three energetic kids aged 2, 5 and 8. Life is full, fun and always moving, and we're searching for a warm, capable and detail-oriented housekeeper who can become a trusted helping hand and a valued part of our family.

This isn't just a job to us — we're looking for someone with high standards, who takes pride in their work, enjoys being around children, and brings a calm, organised presence to our home. Someone who's proactive, dependable and wants to be with one family long-term — an extra pair of hands during the week, and over time, an extension of our family.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for maintaining the home, supporting with daily routines, and helping create a well-run, happy household.

Your tasks might include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining the home (double-storey) to a high standard

  • Laundry: washing, folding, ironing, linen changes

  • General tidying and home organisation (clothes, shoes, toys, school bags)

  • Light cooking and meal preparation, including school lunches

  • Grocery shopping, pantry organisation and occasional errands

  • Decluttering and maintaining organised spaces like wardrobes, cupboards and the linen press

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working as a housekeeper or in a similar role (minimum 2 years)

  • Holds high standards of cleanliness, order and presentation

  • Is caring, reliable, honest and trustworthy

  • Takes initiative and can manage tasks independently

  • Loves bringing calm and structure to busy family homes

  • Genuinely wants a stable, long-term position with one family

What you'll need:

  • Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to get them)

  • Two professional references

  • ABN preferred but not essential
