About the role

As a member of the team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality NRM projects and advisory services to landholders and communities across the far west. This position is essential for meeting a critical geographic and technical need in the region and offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to sustainable land management outcomes.

This role delivers on-the-ground services that help rural communities manage productive and healthy landscapes. You will:

  • Provide expert natural resource management advice and extension services to landholders and stakeholders
  • Deliver and manage NRM projects addressing threatened species and high conservation value areas
  • Develop and support collaborative partnerships to tackle complex land management challenges
  • Contribute to strategic planning, monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of LLS programs

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone with:

  • A degree in agriculture, environmental science, NRM or related fields – or equivalent industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical NRM advice to landholders or regional communities. Experience in rangelands environments is desirable.
  • Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach to service delivery
  • A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the region
