Leisure Sales Manager - 1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne

We are seeking a Leisure Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth while fostering lasting client relationships and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
The Role:
As Leisure Sales Manager, you'll direct, coordinate, and execute all sales-related activities to maximise existing accounts and generate new business. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds revenue targets. This is a key leadership position where your expertise and creativity will directly impact our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead relationships with major luxury consortia (Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble, AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts), including strategy meetings and performance reviews.
- Negotiate consortia promotions, allocations, and commission structures to maximise revenue.
- Achieve KPIs including lead-to-conversion ratios, ADR uplift, and incremental revenue growth.
- Plan and host on-property FAM trips and advisor stays; deliver engaging sales presentations and experiential tours.
- Analyse account performance and market trends to recommend rate adjustments, packaging strategies, or product enhancements.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve property objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Monitor guest feedback and performance data to optimise engagement and retention.
- Inspire and lead others through effective communication, integrity, and business insight.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant qualification with 4+ years' experience in a comparable sales role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Luxury hotel sales experience with a proven track record in business development.
- Exceptional presentation skills and ability to follow up effectively.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, team leadership, and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with the 1 Hotel brand.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
