**About the role**

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities associated with the procurement, modification, and maintenance of company assets, including plant, motor vehicles, trucks, buildings, property, equipment, tools, and machinery.

Working predominantly out of McIlwains Head Office in Hemmant, the Assets Coordinator will also need to occasionally travel to sites for vehicle, plant and equipment inspection.

**Duties**
- Organise maintenance of company plant, machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Liaise with the Finance team on invoices and costs.
- Obtain competitive prices, including negotiating for new, additional or replacement assets.
- Ensure the yard is always kept clean and tidy, and that all materials stored in the yard are kept in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Keep up to date maintenance records, logbooks, registers, etc.
- Ensure all vehicle/plant or tools are prepared, cleaned, and inspected prior to delivery to sites.

**Skills & experience**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience in Lucidity software highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in Warehouse or Asset Management.
- Current manual drivers Licence.
