Are you an experienced gold geologist who enjoys variety, autonomy and real influence across multiple exploration projects? Ramelius Resources is expanding, and we are looking for a Senior Exploration Geologist to support our Principal Geologist across several WA sites.

This role has an expanded regional scope, providing leadership and technical coverage across our exploration portfolio. You will work closely with project teams, deliver high quality fieldwork and play a key role in identifying targets and driving discovery.

What you will be doing

  • Assessing prospects and generating exploration targets
  • Designing and delivering work programs ready for execution
  • Leading and mentoring Project and Exploration Geologists in the field
  • Maintaining strong safety leadership and compliance across all activities
  • Interpreting data and providing timely reports to stakeholders
  • Ensuring tenure remains in good standing and obligations are met
  • Managing relationships with landholders, traditional owners and contractors
  • Supporting the Principal Geologist in long term exploration strategy

What you will bring

  • At least 10 years' experience in gold exploration across multiple deposit styles
  • Strong track record in target generation, mapping and drill program design
  • Advanced proficiency with Micromine and ArcGIS
  • Sound understanding of WA mining, heritage, WHS and tenure legislation
  • Demonstrated safety leadership in remote and field based work
  • Excellent communication skills and a supportive leadership style
  • A tertiary qualification in Geology or Geological Science
  • Current C Class drivers licence and a National Police Clearance
