About the Role

We're seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis at Charter Care Services. You'll be supporting a customer with complex, high-intensity needs, including catheter care, stoma care, peg feeding, hoisting, Experience working with Behavior Support Plans/Protocols and wheelchair support. This role involves personal care, household tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You'll be working active night and non-active shifts as part of a dedicated 24/7 support team, with flexible shift lengths from 2 to 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing.
  • Use hoists and other mobility aids to assist a wheelchair-bound customer
  • Prepare meals, perform house cleaning, and assist with daily living tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes
  • Provide emotional support and build positive, trusting relationships

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with complex care
  • Confident in manual handling and using hoisting equipment
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and compassionate
  • Must be Female with age 35 years and below
  • Living close to the Riverstone Area 2765

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
  • Valid driver's licence (P2 or open class)
  • Senior First Aid and CPR certificate
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
