About the Role:

As a Kitchen Hand / Food Prep Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth running of daily kitchen operations. You'll assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and help uphold our high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients).

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing.

· Ensure all food storage areas are clean, stocked, and well maintained.

· Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.

· Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.

· Dispose of waste and recycling in line with venue procedures.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a kitchen or café environment (preferred but not essential).

· Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

· Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

· Good communication and time management skills.

· Flexible availability — must be able to work weekends and peak periods.

· Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
