Remuneration:$94,344 to $102,835 per annum + annual leave loading & superannuation

Campaspe Shire Council a highly skilled and motivated Centre Based Care Coordinator to lead our early years team at Rochester Early Learning. The unique boutique style childcare option is in the rural town of Rochester, located between Bendigo and Echuca in Victoria. The centre has recently completed a contemporary refurbishment providing room for further growth to support the young families residing within the local community who require care and education for children 0-6 years.

The successful candidate will bring professional and personal qualities to the service, with the passion to provide exceptional care and education through a child safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Key responsibilities and commitments include:

  • Oversee daily centre operations to meet all regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise and report to the Approved Provider representatives regarding services operations.
  • Provide leadership and management to educators and staff in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Manage enrolments, waiting lists, staffing, budgets, and centre performance.
  • Leading the overall vision and daily operations of the centre with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Ensuring high-quality programs that adhere to the Child Safe Standards.

To be successful for this role you will require:

  • Bachelor of Teaching - Early Childhood and /or Diploma in Children's Services.
  • Demonstrated experience in early childhood service provision and knowledge of early childhood development, including the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Child Safe Standards & National Model Code.
  • HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
  • National Police Check and Valid Driver's Licence.
