Developer Programmer (Full-Time)

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Salary Range: $78,000 – $125,000 plus superannuation

Byte Digital Consulting is a Melbourne-based software development company specializing in the design and delivery of innovative mobile apps, scalable web platforms, and robust microservices for clients across Australia.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Developer Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software programs to meet client requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse user requirements to design, develop, and modify software applications.
  • Write, test, and debug clean, scalable code in languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or .NET.
  • Maintain and enhance existing programs by identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the integration of new systems and ensure compatibility with existing applications.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and user manuals.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Developer Programmer.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full-time position (38 hours per week).
  • Role based in Melbourne, Victoria.
