Are you a highly skilled Security Vetting Analyst looking for a new challenge? We are working with a Federal Government department on a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a key team responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of personnel.
Please note to be successful, you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Hold a Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting)
- Have a valid NV1 or NV2 Clearance (Baseline Clearance could be considered)
In this role, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that handles a variety of complex security matters, including Change of Circumstances, Reportable Notifiable Incidents, and the reinstatement of security clearances. You'll use your expertise to provide critical analysis and recommendations, working independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis to prepare detailed security reports.
- Liaising with strategic stakeholders across government and industry.
- Managing complex and sensitive cases, providing feedback, and making professional judgements.
- Analysing vetting findings, investigating inconsistencies, and making recommendations on security clearances.
We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can collaborate with a team while also taking the initiative to manage their own workload effectively.
Please note: There is no public transport directly to or close to the location of this department therefore a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential.
