What You'll Be Doing
Provides a range of claims management and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of recovery outcomes and achievement of operational and legislative requirements.
Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislative requirements for claims management and evidence of ability to calculate pre-injury average weekly earnings (PIAWE).
- Effective communication skills including confidentiality, sensitivity and judgement with stakeholders including injured staff, managers and insurance providers.
- Experience in a range of HR systems including payroll functions with ability to interpret industrial awards including pay entitlements and leave conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent IT and records management skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise, manage conflicting demands and use time management skills.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
